The Offenders

By hearditbefore

The Offenders were an 80s hardcore punk group from Austin, Texas. They had a more straightforward hardcore sound unlike many of the other better-known Texas groups.

Bass player Mikey Donaldson went on to play in Sister Double Happiness with Dicks singer Gary Floyd.

This is a 1989 re-issue of their We Must Rebel LP with some extra tracks.

An anthology of Offenders stuff is supposedly due for release fairly soon including early singles and second album Endless Struggle.

Y’all say it with me now, “God Bless Texas!” And don’t forget the unofficial state motto, “Fuck You, I’m from Texas!!” Damn it feels good to be from Texas.
